With Great Grandparents

Jake's grandparents (as well as Mom and siser Leah) were in town this weekend for Brea's graduation from Snow college. Josh warmed up to everyone really quick, but loved these two for taking him on walks and swinging him. Posted by Picasa

Josh's Excited Face

Josh has his new face that he makes anytime he's excited or surprised. I guess he picked it up from us, because anytime we would try to get him to do something we'd try and make it sound fun by opening our mouths and gasping with excitement- so now he does the same... and when he opens his mouth he opens BIG! Posted by Picasa

Over the weekend we went to one of Jake's cousins wedding up in Layton. The gardens were so pretty we took some pics, and Josh had fun exploring. Posted by Picasa

Easter Dinner

For Easter dinner I follow the Grandma Bybee tradition of making a leg of lamb. Jake helped in the kitchen and we also managed mashed red potatoes with roasted garlic, homemade gravy, sauteed asparagus, bunny shaped cheese bread, and sparkling juice. It was a delicious feast! Posted by Picasa

On the toys

While everyone was practicing hitting Josh and I went and played on the toys. He had fun climbing around, and surprised me when he climbed to the top of the twisty slide and decided to go down on his own. I got to the bottom to catch him, and he was a bit scared at how fast he came down, but after a few more times climbing back up there and then down, he decided to give it another go- such a brave little kid! Posted by Picasa
