Thank you Jake for making one of my dreams come true! With all of the fun memories of boating with my dad growing up- Jake and I have always said a boat would be our first big toy- and thanks to his hard work, now we have one! We went in on this '05 Centurian Elite with his business partner Lou. On Saturday we got several friends and family together at Utah lake for boating and BBQ. The weather was great and we had lots of fun. For the record I got up on the slolom first try, but I'm embarassingly sore! That's okay though- I have all summer to get back into shape again. We didn't get lots of pics- infact, I went back and took these stills from the little video we had... I've always known Jake was hot- but he looks even HOTTER wakeboarding behind and driving a boat!
Because we were having such a busy and fun time, I didn't stop to think and take pictures of all the friends and family and fun (darn the luck!) but I did get a couple of the boys playing on the banks and having fun in a boat of their own.
Well, it's spring and we've jumped into project mode. We decided to remodel our master bathroom (it had carpet, OLD plastic insert shower and bath and boring oak cabinents with yellow countertop)... as projects go it is taking longer than hoped- but here's some shots of the progress from demolition, to restaining the vanity, to after all the tile and stonework was finished. Now we are painting, putting in all the fixtures and beadboard- I'll post more when its done!

Jake got tickets for us to go to the Jazz game last night. Come to find out Dekker will no longer take a bottle- so he got carried along with us. He actually did pretty well, despite all the noise and even slept through 2nd quarter and through overtime. If you didn't see it, it was pretty much the best game ever- down by 5 points in the last minute, then came back to put us in over time and win it! What a fun night!

Dekker will be four months old next week and I can hardly believe it. Newest accomplishments: he's become very adept and finding and sucking his thumb, he loves to twist to one side and if I roll him onto his tummy he sometimes rolls back to his back on his own, and he's learned to laugh- though he mostly just opens his mouth in big circle and swallows a lot of air!
