Today I was changing Dekker's diaper and admiring this cute naked body... since Josh was sleeping I thought I'd pull out the camera. Hope you'll indulge me. Why are they SO CUTE?!

Here She be

As per a few requests... here's a picture of the actual boat, and not just us behind it. She supplies us with many good times!

The other day my friend Heather suggested we meet at the children's garden up at Thanksgiving Point. It was so much fun watching the kids play in the water and wander the gardens. What a great idea!

Red, White, & Blue

So Noah & Tiffany's wedding colors were red, white and blue. I thought I'd follow my cousin Natalie's example and try and dress my family in their colors so as not to clash in their wedding pics. I was so proud of my efforts, that at the end of the reception I handed my camera over to try and get what I thought would be a cute family photo... but alas, the boys (Jake included) were pretty restless at that point and not so cooperative. The top one here is the best we got. The rest looked much more like the bottom one- us in all our craziness; Jake making poser faces, josh squirming, and Dekker always looking somewhere besides straight ahead. Oh well. At least we tried.

Playing with cousins

This weekend we drove to Colorado for Jake's step-brother's wedding. As weddings go, it was a lot of craziness, but the cousins had fun playing together as usual. Nana threw them all in the bath together after they were covered in dirt running around outside all day. Dekker and McKyla who are just 5 weeks apart were always interested in each other (McKyla is grabbing Dekker's hand in the last pic) and we're sure they'll grow up as good buddies.

Happy 4th of July!

In the evening we headed to Jake's office wich we discovered has a great grassy hill overlooking the valley. We watched the Stadium of Fire show from a distance while Josh had a "blast" with sparklers and snaps. He was so cute- he'd only hold onto the sparklers for a second, and then he'd drop them and watch them to avoid getting burned. The second picture here is him blowing on them!

Water and Food

All you need for a good 4th- water and good food! ( I laugh every time I see this one of Josh devouring the watermellon). Thanks to Barrands, Dixons, Kearns family, Becca, and Brea for joining us for a great time! We made taquitos and everyone pitched in for the sides and desserts- and of course the boat took a couple runs as well. What a fun time!

Happy Birthday to Jaime

I can't believe this is my last year of my 20's! I had a wonderful Birthday (June 30)- thank you for all the warm wishes. Jake made me crepes for breakfast (my favorite), then it was off to his softball tournemant. Jake was a little dissapointed that they didn't go as far, but I was secretly happy since it meant we had time to go out with friends on the lake in the afternoon. I got a new slolem ski for my Bday, and so was anxious to test it out. After a great day on the lake, Jake took me to Happy Sumo (another favorite) for dinner (thanks to Brea for watching the boys!).

Aunt Trish

Last weekend Jake was gone to Colorado for the weekend, so my good friend Becca came and stayed with me to keep me company and help out with the kids. Becca is known as "Aunt Trish" to Josh- and he just loved having her around! I also enjoyed having someone around to watch "chick flicks" with and go shopping with. Thanks again "Trish"!!!
